The Finger And The Moon released yesterday, October 8th 2013, created by longtime producer and Seattleite, Josh Karp also known as BUDO. This album marks a new journey for this talented young man as he steps into the spotlight and into his own. Following in a similar vein of his first solo album, One Bird One A Wire, this collection relies heavily on his multi instrumental talents and synth skills. The Finger and The Moon however, also features poetic and sometimes painfully truthful lyrics, and vocals which we have not yet seen from Karp. While the muse of this album remains a mystery to the public, it is clear to all who lend an ear that some lady took this kid through the ringer. And it just goes to show, once again, there is nothing better for creativity than a broken heart.
