I would go anywhere with you. It’s just us. The whole wide world and I have you. Imagine that. I tethered my lifeboat to yours. Maybe one day I will just climb over, join you as we bob around the unforgiving sea. I will never expect anyone to understand this mission of ours. They weren’t invited. We have been to some terribly ugly places and then climbed to the tip tops of mountains to see all those problems were so very small on the ground. Wide open spaces. I cannot imagine now what all of this will look like as we press on or what we will look like as our beauty fades. I will love you still. So long as you allow me to tether my boat to yours and climb over when the nights grow cold.
